At Targhil Books, our aim is to get your books to you as quickly as possible and in perfect condition.

Order Processing

All orders ship from Quebec, Canada. Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days after your order confirmation email is received (excluding weekends and public holidays). Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking to become active in the carrier's system.

If you have not received your order within 21 days of your shipping confirmation, please contact us at hello@targhil.com with your name and order number and we will look into it promptly.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your destination and order total.

Please note that delivery times may vary depending on destination, customs processing, and local postal services. Estimates are not guaranteed.

P.O. Boxes

We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes at this time. Please provide a complete street address at checkout to avoid delays.

Unsuccessful Deliveries

If delivery is unsuccessful due to reasons outside our control — including refusal of delivery, incorrect address, or the recipient being unavailable — redelivery or return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Please ensure your shipping address and contact details are correct at checkout.

Customs Duties & Local Taxes

Targhil Books ships internationally from Canada. Depending on your destination country, your order may be subject to customs duties and local taxes (including VAT) upon arrival. These charges are collected directly by your local customs authority and are not included in your order total.

The table below shows estimated rates by country. Books are duty-free in most destinations we ship to. Local taxes (VAT or equivalent) vary by country. Rates are provided as a general indication only — we recommend checking with your local customs authority for the most current information.

 

In some countries, your carrier or local postal service may charge a small handling or clearance fee to process your parcel through customs. This fee is separate from the duties and taxes above and is collected at the time of delivery.
